Miscarriages

Even though about one in four pregnancies ends in miscarriage, there’s a lot that we still don’t know about why it happens.  This means that most women never find out the cause of their loss, even if they have investigations.

It can be very difficult to cope with not having an obvious reason for your miscarriage.  If you know why it happened, that can help make sense of it all, and perhaps help you plan for another pregnancy. If you don’t know, you may begin to wonder whether it was somehow your or your partner’s fault.

It’s important to know that that your miscarriage is very unlikely to have happened because of anything you did or didn’t do.

You are allowed to feel grief for the life that was once inside of you, this is natural and part of your healing process and you will never forget this baby, but, with some assistance from people who care and genuinely believe in you and want you to believe in yourself, in time you will be ready to move forward with your life and you can look forward to welcoming your next baby.

With help from Wellbeing Practice you can be looking forward to a bright happy future with a baby that you will someday carry into this world, perhaps far sooner than you ever thought possible.
